McLaren has announced a new Sport Pack for its 570GT.
McLaren has announced a handful of upgrades for its 570GT sports car. The 570GT is part of McLaren's Sport Series of vehicles, which also includes the 570S Coupe and 570S Spider.
The 570GT is positioned as a long-distance cruiser within the McLaren lineup, but the British automaker is spicing things up a bit with a few new standard and optional features. Chief among those changes is a standard set of carbon-ceramic disc brakes.
Although designed as a more relaxed alternative to its S-badged stablemates, McLaren says it has fielded requests from customers for a more sporting version of the 570GT. McLaren listened, and 570GT buyers can now specify an optional Sport Pack.
The Sport Pack includes the exact same steering rack, damper actuators and uprights that you'd find in the 570S models. The Sport Pack also includes an S-tune for the 570GT's adaptive damping, steering and Electronic Stability Control systems. Tires have also been upgraded to Pirelli P-ZERO CORSAs for added grip. McLaren will charge $5,950 to bring a 570GT up to 570S specs.
Additionally, the 570GT can now be fit with driver-controlled variable-tint electrochromic panoramic roof, making it easier to keep your car cool in sunny weather. There's also new Design Edition Packs for the 570GT that offer By McLaren luxury design interiors at a lower price than specifying the unique interior treatments individually.
The updated 570GT is available for order now at McLaren retailers.
