The last few months haven’t been good for the Ford GT. In December, thieves stole one of the cars from a dealership in Manteca, CA, and subsequently crashed it only three miles later. Just recently, we heard about an unfortunate story from South Florida where a customer set a dealership on fire, destroying a Ford GT in the process. Worst of all, none of these cars can be replaced, because early this month, Ford announced it was discontinuing the GT. Today, Wrecked Exotics has posted images of two wrecked Ford GTs. The first is a red GT from Worcester, MA. The second is a black GT from Auckland, New Zealand.
All man, I really hate seeing one of my favorite cars like this.
I feel ill.
Seems if the production run ends in september, as your story indicates, then these cars can, in fact, be replaced.
And it’s just a super expensive ford. Give me a Corvette anyday.
Mike, you’re a moron. The one in Florida was a very rare GT with the heritage paint. The red one in the picture, albeit not as rare, that was not the point, there will only be so many manufacured and then will be no more. corvettes are a dime-a-dozen.
The Corvette is a POS when compared to the GT.
I agree with Maranello on his comment. Dont get me wrong I love the Vette. But the Ford GT beat the hell out if the vette, viper and ferarri. Plus it looks bad ass
