BMW's V10 named best engine for second year

BMW's 5.0-liter V10 engine was crowned the "International Engine of the Year" at the Engine Expo in Stuttgart, Germany for the second year in a row. The engine is used in both the BMW M5 and BMW M6, offering an impressive 500 horsepower. In total, BMW walked away with five awards, with honors going to the Z4 M's 3.2 liter inline-six engine (from the BMW M3) and the automaker's turbodiesel 3.0-liter.
