General Motors scraps next-gen TrailBlazer, Envoy?

General Motors will not build a new line of SUVs at the Moraine assembly plant, as originally planned. Instead, it will continue to build its current line of mid-size SUVs at the plant for an indefinite time, the Dayton Business Journal reported today. The models that will remain in production in their present form include the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender and the Saab 9-7X. GM spokesperson Dan Flores said the automaker has extended the lifecycles of all the existing models and will still cut a shift from the plant.
