Following an exhaustive study into the viability of producing the stunning AeroMax Coupe, British automaker Morgan has decided to begin production in January 2008. A limited run of just 100 individually numbered coach built coupes will be constructed at a rate of 1 -2 cars per week, the final model leaving the production line in the automaker’s centenary year - 2009. Pricing is anticipated to be around £94,000. Morgan vehicles are available in Europe, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Mexico, and Russia. What will those Brits think up next - reinventing the typewriter? Chrysler already did a ’30s car, Prowler, and it was a dud.

This is hardly a prowler. This is a specialized, VERY limited production, coach built luxo coupe. The prolwer was a parts bin special witha wimpy engine, auto only, and filled with chinzy bits. Oh, and IMO, it was incredibly ugly.

The Prowler was lost in translation, a problem the AeroMax won’t have.

I still find the front incredably ugly…
for the rest, nice car. the front lights should be a more modern interpertation of the old ones, not some wannabe-modern headlights wrapped around a corner…
makes it look cross-eyed.

i hope they dont continue with the oak chassis, or whatever the wood is. not with this car. if im going to pay 94,000 quid for a car, than it better handle well without worry of a splintered chassis or termites.

paul morgen only make this kind of car. this is modern for them.
Dav would you honestly turn down a car because it had wood paneling? they can treat the wood you know.
the problem with the prowler was it was trying to make a customized car mainstream. it just didn’t have that spark

I was just about to say what # 13 said that morgan has been building cars that were essentially the same for decades. I believe that the aero 8 rides on a wooden platform

this car was designed by a student designer.. the interior would leave any coniseur (spelling?) drolling. this is not retro, this is as modern as it gets. Before idiots like paul and dave talk, modern has NOTHING to do with technology. So im sure thats why you’re confused and scratching your heads like our primate cousins do when faced with something they dont understand.

like every other morgan, they’ll build them when they get around to it, and there will be a buyer for every one. good on them. Nobody else has that business model. Maybe Bristol. TVR wishes they had that audience
