Texas Ford dealers oppose pro-gay stance

The board of the Greater Texas Ford Dealers Advertising Fund -- which represents 78 Ford Dealers in North Texas -- has sent a letter to Ford disapproving of its support for gay groups. The organization requests that Ford no longer advertise with "controversial media," or "homosexual related media and events." The group further criticized "offensive photos of the gay lifestyle" and "gay polygamy." In December, Ford announced it would continue to advertise in gay publications, despite calls from conservative Christian groups to boycott Ford products.
