New Silverado, Sierra priced same as predecessors

The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra will be priced at the same levels as the models they replace, General Motors said today. Extended cab versions of both vehicles will start at $23,605, while crew cab models will start at $27,000. Pricing includes a standard 4.8-liter V8 and a $900 destination fee. The new trucks were first unveiled to the public in early August. Production is expected to begin next week, with deliveries taking place a month later.
