Project Kimber previews new Smart-based AC

British firm Project Kimber has released a new sketch of its forthcoming sports car based on the DaimlerChrysler Smart Roadster. The company acquired the rights to the Smart Roadster and Coupe from Chrysler in September. It plans to build a new range of AC sports cars based on the architecture.

Rather than merely selling Smart Roadsters and Coupes with AC badging, Project Kimber elected to re-skin the vehicles with appropriate AC styling. The final cars are expected to be unveiled some time next year.
