GM reveals Hummer H3 Open Top prototype

General Motors at the Detroit auto show revealed a prototype version of the Hummer H3 Open Top. The truck was first shown in concept form a year ago. GM's continued development of the vehicle suggests production is likely at some point.

The H3 Open Top has a retractable canvas roof that can open partially to create a typical sunroof, or retract fully to create a convertible experience. When fully retracted, only a single cross-member remains behind the back seats. Gallery after the jump...
