Mercedes-Benz teases EQ: "Goodbye noise" [Video]

Internal combustion noise has been added by beatboxer Daniel Jovanov.

Mercedes-Benz has released a new teaser video for the Concept EQ electric vehicle.

"It will be breathtaking - in the double sense," the company says. "Because their new and very first fully electric series EQ isn't only powerful, dynamic, sportive and intelligent, but also entirely noiseless."

Beatboxer Daniel Jovanov aka "Human Car Sounds" provides his own noises for the EQ in the video.

Production EQ-series vehicles are also unlikely to be completely silent, as regulators push for electric vehicles to project synthetic noises as a safety alert for pedestrians.
