Porsche 911 GT2 Evo sells for $1.4 million

A Porsche 911 GT2 Evo sold for $1.45 million at an auction last week. One of just 11 examples built, the model is a one-owner example with just 4,350 miles on the clock.   


Jaguar announces 600hp XE

Jaguar will give the BMW M3 a run for its money with a 600-horsepower version of the XE. 300 examples will be hand-assembled in Coventry, England, starting next year.   


BMW shows M4 GT4

BMW's newest race car has broken cover ahead of its official debut at the Nurburgring 24 Hours race. The M4 GT4 is loosely based on the street-legal coupe it shares part of its name with but it features a stripped-down cabin, carbon fiber doors, and a more aggressive aero kit.   


Nissan Kicks coming to the U.S.?

Nissan will allegedly build a U.S.-spec variant of the Kicks, a small crossover currently sold exclusively in Latin America. The front-wheel drive soft-roader could debut in the coming months with a 1.6-liter turbo four rated at 188 horsepower.   


Uber ordered to hand over Otto term sheet

The judge hearing the Waymo vs. Uber lawsuit ordered Uber to hand over to Waymo an unredacted copy of its term sheet with Otto--the company Uber purchased for its LiDAR technology which Waymo claims was as its IP. TechCrunch reports that Judge Corley didn't see any basis for Uber's desired redactions.


GM issues statement in response to diesel lawsuit

General Motors spokesperson Pat Morrissey released a statement in response to the lawsuit filed by owners alleging that its diesel HD pickups employ an emissions "defeat device," stating: "These claims are baseless and we will vigorously defend ourselves. The Duramax Diesel Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra comply with all U.S. EPA and CARB emissions regulations."


Lawsuit accuses GM of emissions cheats

A lawsuit filed by owners represented by the law firm Hagens Berman accuses General Motors of implementing "defeat device" software in its heavy-duty trucks, Bloomberg reports. A GM spokesperson flat-out denied any wrongdoing, saying the suit is "without merit."
