Geneva LIVE: Subaru Viziv Tourer Concept

The sleek concept appears to be one step away from a production WRX wagon.

Subaru has revealed the Viziv Tourer Concept in Geneva, marking five years since the first Viziv made its debut at the same venue.

The sleek tourer adapts the Viziv design language into wagon form, without straying far from the Viziv Performance sedan. Both share the brand's 'hawkeye' headlights, hexagonal grille and angular sculpting.

"In anticipation of widespread future deployment of automated driving technologies, advanced driver-assist functions combining the next-generation EyeSight system with other devices have been installed in the car to reduce driver fatigue on long journeys and enable active enjoyment of driving with peace of mind," Subaru says.

The company suggests the Viziv concepts will continue to inspire future production models, though the announcement stops short of explicitly confirming a WRX wagon.
